Milkshape graphics problem

I got Milkshape and I had no problems getting models in or changing them or anything like that. But about 5 secs after I import the model, my graphics start going to hell. Half the icons on my desktop dissappear, the buttons in Milkshape, or in anything, dissappear, and then when i open a game (say Halo), it opens but you can't see it. I then have to restart for my computer to work right again. Does anyone have the faintest clue about what happened?

BTW, i have a ATI radeon 9200 graphics card if that helps

have you done any virus scans recently?

its possible you have a REALLY old version of Milkshape, and the video
driver doesnt support your graphx card and starts goin berzerk, but
i doubt it. im guessin it has somethin to do with a virus too

Ok, thanks, I didn't think of it being a virus. And it shouldn't be an older version of Milkshape since I downloaded it last week from here.

Nah, it's might be old. I don't think people update the stuff here. I know I wouuldn't. Try www.milkshape.com

Well, I tried the virus idea and that worked!

But I think I'll download the newest version too. Thanks for the help guys.
