(Halo 2)Model Extractor Library. (Updated Jan 23rd, 2005)
Hello!
iam a 3d artist and i tried to export a few models.
and i have a question.
1. after i have exported model to obj files i didnt get model.xx i get this
more clear listing, looks like a new version.
2. here comes the problem. i tried to import the obj with
milkshape
anyone knows why?
why do i want this models?
because i use them as reference for highres cgi models.
i have finished a high res monitor 343
and iam working on the pillar of autumn
would be great if anyone could help me.

lightwave 8.02 my primary 3d application

Hey, guys. I've been looking to get the model of the Scorpion [from Halo 2 of course ^_^] into either gMax (preferrably) or 3DS Max so I can mess with them in programs I am familiar with, just for experimental purposes.
Can anybody explain how to do so? I'll need the textures (I can probably figure that one out by myself; I hope the conversion keeps the UVW mapping, though ...) and the model. I can merge as many things as nessecary to get it looking complete in one model. Do I use Deep Exploration to do the conversion? I'm really at a loss here; I've been browsing these forums for a while and am still confused a bit ... Thanks.

Let's convert Hang 'Em High to Halo 2, so the game is *really* worth playing ...
Hey, what I would suggest is: Use ADI with the model library plug-in. Extract the important models for the scorpion (probably out of shared_single_player.map). Then, you can either use milkshape (with the "obj" importer built in, or I beleive there is a plug-in for 3ds-max for importing ".obj"'s. Hope that helps.

Hey... to answer your question no; the plugin doesnt come with models and (i dont mean to sound like authoritative) no one is going to send them to you because they are copyrighted material and faily large. Sorry, buy the game if you really want the models.

i have the game i dont have a modded xbox though. i was wondering if u can do everything with sofmodding that u can with real modding???

You sure can. Thats actually what I chose to do. I originally had a mod chip, but I went to softmodding so I could play XBL. After softmodding your xbox is almost exactly the same as a chip box. If you need help softmodding go to www.xbox-scene.com or message me...

Hey, so sorry to Bump the thread, but im having a problem with the MC model.
Which files out of the following pic do i import? :S if i import them all it just looks a mess. Then i read something about only 16 17 18 19 yet there are no names of 16, 17 etc on the filenames so i dont know which to import? Can any of you help out?

ok, i recently got a mod chip and im lovin it
i just got ADI and i have the newst version and i must be retarded or somthing
i put the ModeLib.dll in the ADI>Libraries folder and add it to the init file which looks like this
and when i load the app it gives an error. when i try it like this
it loads the app but there is no little house button that would allow me to extract the model. this is a big problem for me, can anyone tell me wuts rong?
