Can anyone tell me what's goin on?

Yah, I spent my ENTIRE weekend on this map, I come home this morning, and find my map and EVERYTHING in it except an object that was going to be the interior of a building, GONE. Deleted. The map file was there, but eerything absolutely EVERYTHING, the tapes measures, the frame, the actual MAP (which took me 3 whole days to make!!) is absolutely GONE!

Lately my computer acts like a crazed monkey on exspresso, dope, and marijuana! Couple weeks back I come home and EVERY single file has been duplicated and all the files from the original folders moved to the duplicate, I had to fix that, insluding all the sub fuolders, now a bunch of folders are hidden for some reason, still are in fact, i'm to lazy to fix em.

Like you saw with my last map, the god damned map somehow got deleted and all that was left was the base I was making! I thought I did it! I'm begging to suspect something much more vile... I found an old build of the map, and imported it. Then I merged it with the current map, which now only had the un attached inside in it now, and NOW the actual BSP has like 184 ERRORS! Last time I checked it had none!! I stl checked and everything! I exported it to be sent to a freind for eportation to .jms, that;s how I still had the file.

And now whenever I log onto my bros accoutn to model, some stupid spyware thing pops up saying lexxps something has installed, and is known to be spyware free! It was on there BEFORE the REFORMAT! it all started when I tried to hide a file, I come back and all my folders are hidden! I change em back and 3ds max won't work for me on my account!

And ever before that, my computer got shut down by me, and Itry to boot up the next day and it says error logging on! The computer tech said H'ed NEVER seen such blastraphy! Stupid spyware keep trying to install, whenever they want, even though I double spyware checked and dleted al trojan downlaoders! My god! What the HELL is going on?!

Justsearched up lexpps, its a driver for my printer, did I mention that I got errors in my map, even though I looked directly at it and see no immediate degraded geometry, no missing polygons, it turned off backface cull and looked round back, and see no strange polygons! I looked at it from an angle in wireframe toop view, andmoved the camera around while stl check was on, i could see where it was telling me the errros were, but I couldn't see nothing suspicous!

Viruses-can-infect-other-files-i-suggest-a-full-system-clean-aka-scandisk-reformat-ad-aware-spybot-antivirus-online antivirus,...Stuff like that...you SURE you saved it?

use Mcaffe or Norton (i use mcaffe)
if it doent find the virus it is an unknown virus
that is why i use mcaffe its detects unknown viruses by heurostic or something scanning

my mom installed this one weird spyware stormer thing that when i ran it it deleted half of my halo programs .exe's and my mozila .exe and my limewire.exe AND the wmp .exe it took me forever to redl everything

reason it got rid of limeware.exe cause its used on Morpheus, which if you have, is the definate source of your virus/corruprion. If this continues happening, i suggest the worst, the "little black floppy" as i call it, which delets EVERYTHING on your HD including windows, and all of your drivers etc. etc. Like i said before, its the very worst way, but if you have a virus that will not go away and is doing some crazy shit like that, either take it into bestbuy, Frys, etc. etc. and ask them to do it for you and reinsstall Windows adn all of your drivers, costs bout 300 dollars, though. I have had to do it once when a malicious hacker got into my comp and started hacking from it, i had to do that. Sounds to me that you have a virus, not spyware, so chances are you dont need a bunch of spy/ad ware removers, and i hate Norten, only delets like 2 of the virues tha it finds, and its stupid too. Like i said before, this is the last resort thing to do, and i only suggest backng up files that you are absolutely sure that dont conatin a virus, or else the whole process will have to be re-done..... hope this helps, and gl with ur problem.....

**READ**
Before, if you do decide to use the system nuke (aka "little blakc floppy") first get rid of morpheus(if you have it) or gnucleus or Kazaa or any of those P2P programs first, then try and run virus/ad-aware/system scanners to gt rid of all potential virusus, also look for suspicious files, such as one i hade called "Crash" which had a nasty little virus in it. also reboot and run the scanners like 2 times, after you reboot, this will cause them to look deeply once again.

pfft... heck no! use our good old trusty microsoft antitrojanhorsekillerhunter beta 1! thats the best one!
