Halo 2 Map Maker

Is there any halo 2 map makers out there?

like so you can actually make objects in the level like add trees custom towers and stuff like that.

i have h2edit but thats just for editing variables

hell no that will most likely never come out (damn but that would be sweet though) no custom content (or anything of that matter) has been released sry

Is there a map editor for halo 1?

and if so when you make the map can others see it too on system link or do they need the map on there hard drive too?

um yes but no there is one for CE but it take more effort than it is worth (unless u have the urge to do so) cause u need 3ds max (like $3,000 there), HEK thats free, saipen and gurellia (both free and come with HEK), and photoshop pro (dont know but i think about $300), you could mod halo 1 but not get a new map, sry

There's ways around the 3300, like trial versions, using free versions like gmax, etc...

I personally have high hopes for Halo2. Here's what I hope *crosses fingers*: I hope that MS waits long enough for everyone who was going to get it on an Xbox does so and then releases it for PC (I'm thinking about 1-1.5 yrs, just like with HaloPC).

I then hope they release something like HEK only for Halo2 that has more powerful triggers etc. Now, I'm not holding my breath, but that's what I hope happens.
