theres only 1 elite and 2 grunts in the tunnel. . . and ive done that part with 3 banshees trying to get in the tunnel

last i checked in the tunnel, there were like 5 elites at least and a bunch of grunts aklong with jackels and jackel snipers...the tunne lis longer than just the part before the warthog lol

**EDIT** i get there everytime, but the last 3 times the banshee was stupid and flew to the right and up this tube where he can't get back down lol

dont knkow if this is a glitch on my system or not BUT if you make a character (SPARTAN), and try to make his emblem a covienant mark of shame (the one given to the arbitur), it won't show up....(at least it didn't for me). It will show up if a team mate points at the character over his head, but if you look on the actual body of the SPARTAN it won't be there...wierd maybe SPARTANS can't be given shame?

Here's a trick to help you beat The Great Journey on any skill level

*spoiler* sorta doesnt give away any plot.

1. go through the level normally until you get to the part where you are in a banshee.

*You will have to destroy a couple of wraiths before the scarab starts moving*

2. drop out of the banshee onto the scarab. Read above.

3. go into the hallway thing that leads you into the cokpit. It wont let you in but just stay there until the scarab stops moving.

4. After the main weapon on the the scarab opens, walk very carefully onto it. you will fall inside it. None of the banshees can see you.

5. HOLD X so when a banshee comes ner you, you can board it. Then if you getting shot at, use the banshee tricks, and boots towards the door.

6. wait untill the sargent hits the door TWICE with the scarab beam.

7. When you get to a room with glass floors stay underneath them. The brutes wont see you. Use you invisibility to throw grenades at them. When they come down in there with you, just pick them off one by one.

8. In the last battle, lead the leader brute to where sargent johnson can snipe him. Wait untill his sheil is down and use the energy sword to kill him.

9. Last, enjoy the cliff hanger.

this is more of an improvement to halo2, but i didnt know where else to put it

did u guys know that marines can melee now? just today i saw a marine run up (yelling like a moron) and melee a jackal sniper in the back; it didnt kill the jackal, it just knocked him off his perch down to me, where i promptly gave him a knuckle sandwich

Yes, its true, the scarab gun is possible to get. i got it and it is so awsome. and then i found something else, a SOCCER BALL!!!!!! you get in the banshee after u get the gun and fly over to where u first meet up with the other hog (when u r nomally suposed to be in the gauss hog) and i fly up to the left and it is on the bottom floor of the biulding. it bouces and behaves just like a real ball

P.S. here is the directions to get the gun and the shee to get the ball

This is done on the level Metropolis and is easiest when done on Co-op. When you start out, cross the bridge. Take out every enemy and even your marines. When you're near the end, Cortana will say something about a "Welcome Party". Three Banshees and a few ghosts will appear. Take them all out. Then 2 Wraiths and 2 Banshees will appear. Take out both Wraiths, and only one Banshee. Have Player 1 continue through the tunnel, but have Player 2 stay outside and distract the Banshee. Once Player 1 reaches the area with the circular opening (a Jackal with a Beam rifle is present), take out the Jackal and head back to where Player 2 is.
Here is the hard part. Get the Banshee to follow both players into the tunnel. Do not board it yet! The first few times it will come at you and fly back out, but stay where you are. It should come back after you. (If it doesn't, go back outside and try again). Eventually, you'll have to get it over two road blocks. Once it is past the second one, have both players stand near the entrance of the room where Player 1 took out the Jackal. It should fly at you and get stuck. Shoot off both of its wings so it can fit thru. Have Player 1 walk slowly in front of the Banshee, making it follow him. Player 2 should be behind it, gently pushing it. Take it to the left and get ready to board it. As soon as you hit the checkpoint, the Elite in the Banshee will disappear. You only have about a second to get in before the Banshee also disappears. Both players should press X quickly. If done right, one of the players will be driving the Banshee!

Take it outside and directly up. Very high in the sky are two skyscrapers with two bridges connecting them. In the middle of the bridge closest to you, there is something that looks like a plasma rifle. It's actually a Scarab gun! It has infinite ammo, so have fun. Just don't aim at the ground.....

you get foundation by beating it on heroic you get another map (starts with a c) by beatin it on legendary...but yeah thats what im worried about the brutes and there brute shots. I think its because i was playing co-op and my friend is a run and gunner but you need strategy good thing is you get a sword right of the bat if you kill the elite...I found a "trick" on gamewinners.com but it takes to long to post it here typing, what it does it allows the same weapon to be the primary and secondary weapon (meaning 2 weapons the same without weilding).

I have a modded xbox and i have halo2 burned on m xbox, believe me there is no other levels u can unlock besides foundation....

Colussus: near that wavy elevator that shoots u up into the air, there is a conveyor belt that flows into it. there are crates next to that conveyor belt. punch the crates to send them on the belt. be patient and watch them get launched into the air by the wavy thingy of doom. its hilarious. and i killed a dude that was sniping like that.

I've gotta try that... I get my XBOX tomorrow and so I'll use my dad a a guinea pig for the whoosh thing.

ok u ppl need to learn more about glitches here ill give u a easy glitch ok go to ivory tower and go to where the over sheild respawns and walk up the slope and turn right and look down u should see a little ledge jump on that and get some one to stane directly in the middle of these 3 lines that are close together and get him to back up to the wall and u take out ur energy sword and start slashing at him/her until you fall through the glass then u should be on a ledge jump on the ledge and u should fall into a white abyss if u want to know some more glitches i know almost all of them email me at RDS_842@msn.com

Ok i got a commet and a question. I was over at my cousins house and while we were playing halo2 coop he told me about a secret skull that he found. I ask him wich one and gave a couple exsamples. none of them matched. He told me the affect of the skull. He said it made the legs of you and your marine friends leg's disapear. Well then i thought he was lying because he likes to be cheap like that. I asked my younger cousin(his sister) and she said it really happend. It was in metropolis. he discribed that the way he got it was that he went on top of the bridge and jumped when a banshee was in view and boreded it (I told him there was an easyer way to do it) then his sister took the tank and shot him but missed and hit his wing wich sent him flying. he landed some where but he said he couldnt describe it because he was flying backwards to fast. when he got to the ground he didnt know where he was and he found a skull when he pikced it up it made his legs dissapear and his teammates legs disapear. Has any one ever heard of this skull or allready found it?

Also my question, i was wondering where the secret sword was in the 3rd
real level(cant remeber name) I did a search on it and i couldnt find anything that expalined where it was. If any one could tell me? Thanx!

I've never heard of a skull that dissapears and I don't know what you mean by sword....Either plasma sword or something else.

yes that one if some one could post pics and a guide on how to get those plasma swords I would really apreacate it. Also I hope my cousin wasnt lieing about that skull. ill post more info when i find it. ( or if i find out that he was lieing)
