Blood Gluch
Blood Gluch
I'm kinda confused on where to post this but.......
can someone make a bloodgulch mod where hunters play CTF or Slayer with you. not like the 1337 gulch where you go to them. i want them to come to the flag, and try to capture it.
Thanks

The AI with the knowledge of human brain, along with many good and calculated strategy, using the best possible method to terminate the player, knowing which the best method to get the flag to escape from base by the choices, to get on the warthhog, or take the teleporter then be embredded with oversheild/camo? Knowing you should drop the flag then once again, in order to terminate the trespasser(s) with sniper if you have, remained in home base or those who are following you in crave of preventing a score. This, I gotta to see.

to actually make them participate in the game and use a sort of teem work strategy would involve some complex ai.
ie: two hunters in each team. The hunters uses 3 defined routes to get to the enemy base picked at random. One can stand outside the base shooting, and the other will use a route to go in and get out and start running back towards the home base.
this would be extremely complicated even something as simple as that. at the moment, all the AI mods can do is fire at eachother, basic movements, and fire at the character. It mite be possible but very hard.
Remember, AI isnt actually intelligence. Intelligence is the capability to learn from a situation and apply it into another similar situation. AI is rules and programming that tells the character to move, fire or act on a set of rules. IE: if a nade is thrown at a grunt, its is programmed to move out of the way or ignore it. it wudnt be clever and try to catch it and throw it back. it wudnt do anything different than that. AI is based on those rules. AI doesnt learn. It executes complex programming that has little bits on what to do in certain situations. nothing more, nothing less.

AI is programmed inteligence, or a simulation of intelligence, it doesnt really mean anything about if it can learn or if i cant. Though it is nice if it can learn.
I have programmed a super simple AI before, for a volleyball game, basically all it did was trigger an animation to a co-ordinates whenever the ball reached a certain trigger point, and if the character missed the ball, which was alot, the team gets a point.
Basically AI works of decisions, or "If" statements, an example is... hmm... If a cyborg entors your field of view, then attack, then all the If statements which would go along with the attack.
You cant change the AI of the game though.
