Cortana with a mans voice...

Im not sure if this has been discussed before so im sorry if it has, I was just modding AotCR and I made the shade shoot cortana and I shot her with my assault rifle and she said one of the marine phrases...it was realy weird and I could basicly get any of the sayings that a marine says when you shoot him by shooting cortana. Anyone else do this?

I've heard of this in the past... it's probably a bug, or some sort of easteregg left in the game... (Actually, some people believed at one point, that the voices were able to be altered by the game engine to sound different).

This isn't that surprising since cortana is normally never seen outside of cutscenes. They must have just assigned her with the marines' dialog because there's no better one. I wouldn't call it an easter egg...

again i think its because they didnt think that this game would be OVERLY PLAYED when they made it, so they got lazy and just threw some things together.

I encountered this once, too. Whenever the Cortanas are shot with an explosive they say a phrase in a man's voice

Plus, it makes a "zap!" sound when u melee her, along with a marine's phrase.

Another similar bug I've noticed is if you change the cinematic life pod in the level Halo to another vehicle, it will use the bridge activation animation (later in the level) during the opening scene. This was in the XBox version, don't know if it would happen in the PC version.

I need to try that life pod thing, just for laughs. And I might as well get the marine cortana while I'm at it.
