Wow - just amazing. Heck, I registered on these forums for the sole purpose of giving you and Xavier some praise. This wil be the sole reason I install Halo once I get my PC running (need new mobo, PSU and CPU fan for an Athlon 3000+). This looks absolutely amazing - it'll be a nice little Christmas present to myself. Speaking of Christmas, look at this pic I Photoshopped up when I was bored:
I think he means the grey Elite before it goes invisible is unskinned. Couldn't that be fixed?Halo 2 Rules!! wrote:wow, i cant believe i didnt notice this post before. ill get the jackal and shit done, and release the dds, however i can not correct the invis elites. its gonna look like that no matter what i do.d3ad connection wrote: incomplete? i noticed the jackel and the grey elite(invis. ones) are not cel shaded!

Just searched and found out what the deal with all RIP Xaveir stuff was about. I'm truly sorry about this, and my condolances go out to his friends and family. Shame, the Halo PC mod that I came across that I like, and the creator passes away before I can tell him how great I thought his mod was...
RIP, man.
I hope the stuff about him faking his own death is true (not that that's a good thing that he's faking his death but at least he's alive), but I doubt it. It's nice his parents had someone tell us...

You need HaloMapTools. Open the map that you want, open the bitmaps part of the list, and then "inject texture" and it will open a window wanting you to find the .DDS file you want to inject, find it and it will apply the bitmap to all the maps. if it says the bitmap is too big it will ask you to do sumtin i dont know.Umm, how do I apply those DDS's? I have the cel shading patch final file applied using ppf-omatic, but I've no idea how to use the DDS. Thanks.
my pc: AMD Athlon XP 2800+, Geil Dual Channel 1GB RAM, GeForce MX 440 with AGP 8x (soon to be GeForce 6600 128MB AGP 8x), integrated audio from my mobo (supposed to be better than a soundblaster live), a Samsung SpinPoint P Series 80GB hard drive
