The files you need to delete are cache files, named like cache000 - cache005.
These are just temporarily saves made by the xbox themself to cut down the loading time. If these files aren't there the xbox will just make new ones. Like when you play a game for the first time, then it will work to.
So, go ahead, and just delete the cache files.
Some are in the X:\ drive others might be in the Y:\ or Z:\ drive.
As I listed before the Cache003-cache005 are for the MP maps!
Good luck,
Martijn

Well this has nothing to do with mods, I guess it's just a random error from xboxconnect. happens to me very often, just don't see a game when it's up.
Maybe you could try Xlink Kai, a similar program to xbconnect.
Just DL at www.teamxlink.co.uk

i must say its a very overpriced crossover cablehandsom_dick wrote:Actually, a xbox system link cable is a crossover cable, therefore, you can use it to connect your xbox directly to your computer, but, if your xbox is connected to a hub/switch/router, you need a straight through network cable.

I have a Question
That was a great tutorial but is there a way where i can have multiple mods on my xbox and select a certain mod to play
Yeah you have to edit the mainmenu map by going to the matg tag in a map editing program and then add whatever map you want to use. I think theres like 51 spots including the original ones so you can have plenty of maps to play. Just check out one of the many tutorials for a more in depth explanation.

Yeah i dont feel like lookin for one so ill just give you the step by step process. first you want to open up the mainmenu.map with ch2r or any other halo 2 map editing program. then you scroll down to the matg, open that and then click on the globals\globals. there should then be a menu full of stuff to the right. click on the box under the "multiplayer maps" heading and select what map you want to edit (probably # 12 and up). by the way you can unlock foundation from here by clicking on the 6th map and going down to the "locked" heading and selecting "off". anyways... there are 12 multiplayer maps (including # 0) so select # 12 from the scroll down box. you should get a -1 value and the rest should be blank. for the "value" and "next value" tag just put a 5 in front of whatever map youre editing. ex. map 12= 512. thats just so you dont point to other things. then name the map whatever you want and provide descriptions using both boxes. for the scenario name you want to fill in where your map is located. just put your map in the "maps" folder in halo. So if i was adding a map called "coagulation_test" my scenario tag would look like this--"scenarios\multi\coagulation_test\coagulation_test.map". after thats done all you have to do is choose the bubbles from the right of empty and that should be it. either do that or choose whatever ones the map youre editing originally uses. im not sure what the other values are but thats all that i do.
your other option would be to just take whatever map youre editing and rename it the same as one of the multiplayer levels and just overwright it.
i hope that helps a bit
MAKE SURE YOU RESIGN YOUR MAPS

didnt work
that didnt work but i will figure it out
sorry about that its probly my fault. make sure when you are editing the scenario name you use something like...
scenarios\multi\coagulation_test\coagulation_test
and dont throw in the ".map" at the end of it. its most likely that but also check to make sure that you have signed both your edited map and the mainmenu.map and also check to see that your map is unlocked and that the "empty" bubbles arent filled in. but just try takin out the ".map" at the end and that should do the trick

I use the 5.4 version of ch2r. The newer ones dont support the old versions plugins so try using the 5.4 version and also get new plugins. just download the ones that i submitted cause i know they will work for sure. you should also try some of the other editors as well. adi and h2edit are both good programs to use.
