gives you a better FOV(field of view) so you can see more outta that little visor you have.
(Updated March 17, 2007)

I do NOT come here anymore, the beta testing ended. That was way back in 2005.

I gave up for a while and now I'm going back to it. Racer_S finally came back and saw my swivel cam and gave me a few pointers on using directx functions to make camera rotations. Then he left abruptly before answering my questions.
I said I wasn't going to release it because some people thought it was cheating, but that was just an excuse for me stop hacking...
So it'll be a while.

The aim in 3rd person view is still a bit fukerd up. 3rd person veiw is pretty much useless with the sniper rifle when the camera is at verticle .7 or any value other than 0, unless i am zoomed in of course.

shoots a good 2 feet below the sniper recticle

Bitterbanana, i think its great that you can move the recticle around and such but could you work on fixing the aim first or instead of the swivel cam? or maybe you could just comment on if you are going to try to get that to work. thanks man.

Hey bitterbana i have a problem with your 3rd pesrson/FOV hack. Well it used to work fine but now suddenly it either just gets an exception error or just plain doesnt work. Yes, i have redownloaded it a couple times but nothing. Do you think it has anything to do with deleting halo ce?

check the first page and look under Exception Errors. If you still are getting exception errors, get with me and I'll help you out.

EDIT:
I'm on it for trial, I promise. Also, the aim fix is near impossible for me to do. I'm working alone on this now and I don't know enough to fix it. Just try to compensate and test your judgment of where the bullet will go, you'll get used to it

aaaaaaaahhh crap really? i was hoping you could get it to line up.

maybe in the next version you could put a slider that manipulates the vectors for aim like 'aim verticle' so we can manually raise it up to line up with camera's verticle level depending on where the user has set it to.

He's a really popular hacker for a lot of racing games. He's busy with a lot of things. He left after the first release though. Everything until then has been done by me during late nights.

This hack has been a real learning tool for me. I've never hacked anything before, so I'm somewhat learning as I go. I'll be working on new things, so expect updates frequently :)

I'm working on it right now, it's a little harder because it's an old version and some offsets are different. Sit tight.

EDIT:
I quit...

thanks enzo

well well well, if it isn't my childhood friend/sexmate, meeheeheeheehee :D

I was playing around with the alldev hack and if you bump possess an enemy and try to go to the next checkpoint, you freeze in position, unable to move. All of a sudden thirdperson automatically turns into a free swivel cam, so I'm re-inspired to isolate those swivel variables.
