Halo CE question

yeah i just downloaded halo CE after hearing about it from a friend, but realized that i had lost the regular Halo disk so i cannot play it right now, which sucks. I was wondering if anyone knows a way that I will be able to play this without buying a new copy of Halo, like downloading some patch or something. I have my cd-key entered because i had that written down, but when i try to play this it reads "Please insert Halo CD-ROM and press ok"

if anyone can help with this that would be awesome!. I already have halo CE installed i just need a cd or patch file or something

There are ways, search google. But I suddgest buying a new CD :/. Also check the tutorial section on file forums, in the user submitted tutorials I believe there is somthing about it. a NoCd thing for all games using some programs.

sounds like u never even bought halo, and the cd key is just one off the internet

ok, u can get a no cd 'patch' but this is illegal if u do not own a copy of halo, but is legal if u do
