i saw the PC gammer vertion of that. the first review was 5 stars. the second one was at 2 stars. then the 3rd one was 3.8. the game looks great but the loading. Halo 2 is better with the texture and area loading. i personaly dont want half-life 2 just because of the having to be online thing. also Doom 3 is crap. it doesnt sound good and the shadow are too thick. i have a good vidio card and the game still looks bad. Doom 3 ware REALY over rated. Thankfully they are making an expantion pack. 5 more weapon!

And I'm as far from a fanboy as you can get.
It's probably because I don't own hl2, so the less I play it, the less I see what's wrong with it. But I'm already burnt out from H2. The more I play it the more I notice how bad it really is. =/

umm.. yeah, anywayz im gonna be gettin' Half Life 2 for christmas and see how good it is. IMO you cant really compare Half Life to Halo. I'd say the only similarity is the lil head crabs are kinda like flood.. I guess

man, i feel like a traitor, i almost voted for HL2 because i played the demo and love the physics engine to pieces, but i voted for halo2 so i wouldn't be a traitor.....

I'd have to say that I agree... I'm seriously considering getting HL2 and just being contempt and not whining about "OMG WICH R BETAR!!"...

You really can't compare them, lets just leave this one alone.

yes, you can compare them. They are both first-person shooters that were released in a time span of 1 week. If you were comparing halo 2 to half-life 1, then you couldn't compare.

I really cant believe how close it is.. I was expecting loads more people voting for HL2, althogh it is still in the lead. Ive voted 3 times already

yeah, me too, but alot of the would-be voters for hl2 are too busy playing, or have jobs (as half-life 2 players have a median age of ~20)
