How do I make a Energy Sword available for MP and SP???

I know its already been done before but i would like to know how to make an energy sword. How do i do this for both MP and SP. Like when i kill an elite with an energy sword can i stop the energy sword from self destructing or do i have to make the energy sword??

ok, brief tut

1) Duplicate and PMI the plasma rifle,
2) Also PMI the energy sword
3) goto the files forum, and look for knaves energysword tutorial, and get the 3rd person model.
4) follow tut in there.
