The field of view is very very small in Halo 2. Shadowkhas just discovered that altering the fov in halo can be done by without using a trainer. It can be done by modifying the MAP file.
So what does this mean? A simple change to a hex value can increase the field of view for halo 2.
If someone has a halo2 mapfile, I would love to take a stab at it. This will work.
thirdperson was not a simple value to find. It's a one byte value of either 0 or 1. FOV's unique value of 1.221730471 allowed for easy searching. This won't happen anytime soon.

I assume your talking about your Halo PC/CE FOV Mod?
yeah I figured it would work for halo1 xbox, but the field of view is already a perfect 90 degrees. I guess if anyone greedy for 100 degrees could use it.
Wait a minute...I thought the FOV on h1xbox wouldn't be 1.221730471 since it's 90 degrees which is 1.57? What value did you look for?

Bawcks = Box. It's a re-wording, under the same pronounciation.
The only thing that sucks about using your old 'Box for modding is that we won't be able to play mods together
