need help with chimp1.5...PLEASE
ok, I'm a total n00b and I am trying to export my model from g-max into a .jms and in all the tutorials and the chimp readme it says "run chimp blah blah blah, and then press the export halo map button" where is the damn export halo button?! i've been trying everything for hours and nothing works. this is probably an incredibly stupid question so you can flame me all you want, but could someone give a straight answer?

Ahh, again. I've seen this topic too many times. Here:
1. Go to the MAXScript menu option and select Run Script. Select chimp.ms in the Chimp folder (IT IS NOT A PLUGIN, DO NOT PUT IN PLUGINS FOLDER).
2. Check the "Listener Window" check box.
3. Press Export Halo Structure.
4. Go to chimp folder and run the "GrabListener" Program.
5. Save it to your models folder in your data directory.
6. Open the saved file with your text editor of choice (prefferably Notepad).
7.
8. Delete all the text within the color blue tags at the begining and end of the file. The color blue tags will not be in your file. They are just here to show you what you have to delete.
9. Save as modelname.jms (modelname standing for your models name... duh!)
10. Compile and there shouldnt be any errors unless it has to do with open edges etc. if its collision geometry or a level.
