Yes I have am a bit of an artist when it comes to machinery. And yes I predicted someone (I actually guessed you darkstorm or waka or someone whos does models) might get on the topic of detail. I knew you would say something, I can't think of any detail to add though... I'm open for suggestions.

I however am unhappy with the legs and hip area. The orso has been sized down as well as the cockpit. I also sortened and re positioned the legs and arms. Giving you the pictures you see now. I don't like how the top part of the mech is so huge and thick then turns into the tiny legs and hip. But then again mom has always said I am to criticisive of my art...

I might rework the model. And on a side note:

I never thought I would but I kinda like those 2D games now... I just came back from playing Age of Empires at my freinds house and let me tell ya: It is AWESOME. I have a idea for game like that only with some of my favortie features. I dunno I probably won't make it (the 2d game not the 3d one).

*hides notes and discussion writings for possibly abandoning the mech game and starting the 3d one* <<<< actually somewhat true. I got "influenced" to liking some 2d games...

I might make the legs bigger and therefore thicker. Maybe that will help. I got like, hold on gotta go get my notebook and count, 4 or 5 mechs drawn up. Plus a new map! It is a map placed in the middle of the montanan rockie mountains. Sometimes I am amazed at my creativeness...

Oh and might I mention there is two heavy mechs AND a SNIPER mech, like in halo a head shot will kill. Because a MAC round to the cockpit kills the pilot. The sniper mech can be used as a scouting mech. I think radar cloak would be appropriate.

OOO! I jsut thought up an awesome sniper animation! Like the sniper fires and a quick flash is given off and a the bullet flies toward the target, and is almost invisible to see except for the flash and a quick red line slips through the air (only visible for a second), the slug impacts the enemy mechs cockpit, in which the mechs head explodes in a ball of fire, and then other explosions rip out through the hull going all the way down the mech.

EDIT: I just started reworking the foot and lemme tell ya, it looks AWESOME:

Sweet job so far.... I tried making a 2d game and could only just make a better version of Pacman...3d games are hard to code, its just the cher volume of work you have to do, the best games where 2d, pac man, mario, sonic, donkey kong, etc etc,, anyways im just saying that to part oof the early pages, its cool that you've decided on maknig a game.

A note about all this age talk, its bullsh!t having an age limit, because computers are getting wider and theres like one in every house, kids grow up having pcs, so what say 25 years olds did, they do it earlier.

Plus, how come most people here are from USA? Im from Uk and it sucks here, pretty much, nothing good happens.

darktsorm that's pretty cool, but I don't know where to add detail, like I said I might try and come up with some ideas.

One big American illusion is that everyone else in the world is jealous of life in America. Get over it. They aren't. Europe is much better to live in anyway. Japan and Canada too. Why? Socialism makes more sense for the people. The US has s*** for a healthcare system. Other parts of the world are smart enough to sacrifice some quality of living for all to improve the basic standard of living. They also don't have s***-for-brains for leaders.

Americans, on average, are NOT richest. Rich Americans? Oh yeah, definitely richest. Bill Gates and Michael Dell, just for starters. But Poor Americans? FAR from richest in the world. Poor Americans live with s***. Crappy homes, crappy jobs, crappy lives. No opportunity for them except to work in Government programs, all of which make no sense anyway.

Oh, and capitallism? Let me make an example. The average American pays $40 - $50 for a good Broadband line. The average Japanese person? $10 - $15, for the same line.

Oh, and the fact that the Economy's in recession doesn't help either (forget that the dollar's less than the Euro?), cuz someone (not naming who) decided that he couldn't even leave money that was for the NCLB Act, because his rich friends just HAD to have their tax cut (random fact: my family was actually one of the few that recieved a tax cut. Wow, huh? I don't give a s***).

Yeah, ok. Sorry, I get overworked over politics. I'm a Liberal Extremeist.

i agree america is definetly not the best place to live in,nor everybody rich
i can compare because i came from to the states about four years ago from turkey(My life was about the same in the money departmant, plus drinking age wasnt forced

Meh, I live in america in government low-income housing with my mom who lives off welfare and a low paying job. Don't tell me about that, I know. I never used to be like this about 1 year back my family lived in one house and wasn't divorced we weren't all poor like this now. My mom goes to school to become an accountant and in maybe 2 years we will be able to move out of here and live a better life. We wouldn't even have a computer if we hadn't gotten it a month before mom left.

Bush is a total idiot. Kerry is somewhat better, with a few problems.

I don't dis-like bush cus of his speech it is cus of his decisions.

I hate celebrities. I haven't bought a CD since 1999.

Yeah. I just noticed that. But that new model looks really cool. I do think it needs some work, but you want to keep the polys really low, less than 1k, considering this engine probably isn't too good.
