2. There Is no "magnitude" of what I "just" said. I do not like 2D games because:
a. the vast majority of 2D games out there on the market are lame meant for 6 years olds, and are un-appealing to myself.
b. for Gameboy and are almost all stupid childrens games. Gameboy is the only source I know of that still produces 2dimensional video games, other than the internet.
c. their games are boring and simple. I do not like the boring gametypes and lame graphics.

Alright man, i didn't mean to offend you. I think you'll be suprised when you find that I am a mere 3 years older you. That's right, I'm 17.

By "magnitude", I meant that you had no idea how "big" of a statement you made. You are young and yet you claim to know everything about 2d games. Here are some of my favorite to enlighten you.

Sanitarium - you control a man who suddenly wakes up in a mental hospital, and you have to find out why you are there. Very strange creepy stuff happens and I found it very hard to play this game alone in the dark. It has a wonderful plot to it.

Starcraft - the best and only strategy game I could get myself into

Metal Slug - the best sidescroller still produced today, It's so good, they put it back on the xbox.

Oddworld - The coolest sidescroller strategy game, you try to help your species by helping them escape from the tyranny of a superior alien race

The Neverhood - the best thinking game I've ever played. You control klaymen and find out the secret of the neverhood through the hardest puzzles imaginable.

But anyway, MAN, I did not mean to trash your dreams! I had dreams like you of making a game, but it disappointed me because it was so hard to do. I'm not belittling your potential, I really think you can do it, because you were so worked up about it and were so offended by what I said. This obviously shows that you have the motivation for it.

I like your attitude, but try not to be so harsh on 2d games.

Good luck with everything. Good job in not putting up with my sh!t.

Im not giving you advice.Im telling you advice.Programming is one thing im semi-good at.But im alot better than you.I cant make a 3d game.I could try,but it would take a long time.And cause your not a better programmer than me,then you cant do it.Stick with 2d and ill help you.But trying to skip basics and go onto advamced doesnt work.I know this from years of expierence

He's absolutely right. We have many years of coding experience, and we're just saying this to make you feel like sh!t. We're just trying to help you realize how hard it is.

You want tutorials? Maybe if you see this, You'll realize the depth of complexity you're up against.

i remember playing this game as a littl kid where you were a little kid going into this world filled with shadow enemies and you had this crazy gun that shot lighting cant seem to remember the name though

Metal slug is fun.I see it in arcades alot.Its addicting,and only costs a quarter.But the 3d games,cost you $1.
So wich would you rather play?I prefer the cheap one,cause you can play longer.

I like Earthworm Jim, that game was awesome. I know it takes alot of programming. I am working on learning this tutorial I found online. I will try to learn it sometime after school, right now it's 7:09 monday so I don't realy have time before school

I don't like em cus I havent played or seen or even heard of any good ones. All I ever find are these stupid childrens games at WAL-MART. I HATE wal-mart. They sell **** for way over the top prices.

oooo, that sucks... i go to K-Mart! They have an ok selection of games for ok prices. MUCH better than wal-mart. i hate that place 2, just like i hate Kerry... GO NADER!!! newayz, use K-Mart or Eb games or somthing. theyve always got somthing worthwile.

Yeah... well there's a slight *SNAG*... wal-mart OWNZ this town! ALOT of bussinesses wen out of bussiness cus of them and they are the ONLY major market corporation within here.

I live in a backwoods town with pretty much nothing to do. the population is 8,000 people.

I;ve never heard of eb games before. or that other one. However we can drive 40 mins to Lacrosse abd visit all the stores there including the mall. Before a couple months ago I had never been to a mall!!

I WILL post an update in a while I got some mechs drawn up and am aobut to model em.

Age doesn't matter lol, my friend (who is 9 in fact) is very smart and can program better than a lot of you i bet lol. Anyhow, i feel like a loser because i'm showing off my friend for him, and making me feel bad
