An aerial view of the entire map. The colour is bit messed up due to the distance fog effect from way up here; it's a bit purple-ish. Also, the radiosity is still basic and will look a lot better in the finished map.

Haha, you guys are gonna hate me. I was up until 4 last night doing portalling and all of today. There's been a massive jump in FPS and it's running about twice as fast as Timberland. But it still needs more work and I have to put the sound in yet. I hadn't imagined that portalling would induce such a rake of errors that need to be corrected one by one, every time you introduce a new portal. Stress! :cry:

Hence, I'm going out to get drunk this weekend and forget about the map for a bit; it'll be ready in 'a few days'. And running incredibly fast. I can confirm that it's loads of fun, with special care paid to King Of The Hill and Race games. There's even support for 16 Skull Oddball.

It's good news, bad news time:


Bad News
While adding extra portals I've come across an error that no-one's heard of before. I've tried all sort of things to overcome it, but no joy. This means that the map won't be running as fast as I would like and some areas won't have an appropriate sound environment.

Good News
It's finished. I'll have to wait until work is over and then I can grab one of my broadband having mates to upload it for me. Expect a release today.
