New to Modelling and Milkshape

I am completely new to everything that concerns modeling, I just grabbed Milkshape 1.7.0 and I have no clue how to open up anything form halo in it, please help me

where do u get milkshape?!?!? ive been searching everywhere! (for DLs and at stores)
