Well, I took the cliff texture from icefield and made it 256x512 because it was 512x1024. I then selected white as my primary color in Photoshop. I used autocolor (Shift+Ctrl+B) and it added white highlights like snow. I ajusted the lightness in hugh/contrast to make it even more white. I took the grass texture and put white speckels on it with a custom brush in PS. I also edited the blood ground1.dds testure to change the groung to white instead of green, because if that isn't done then the ground will still be green.

everytime i try messing with that texture and i reinject it, it has to change the size. Then it says it needs to be dxt 1 or 2 which it is!Fluffybunny wrote:Well, I took the cliff texture from icefield and made it 256x512 because it was 512x1024. I think it's 3
You have to look at the original texture to see what kind of dds it is, then save it as that.

No, different textures have different dxt thingeys. I have found that through trial and error. HMT3 will tell you it has to be dxt1 with 1bit alpha, but thats a huge whopping load of BS!
Some of them have to have that done to them with DXT1 !bit Alpha, but others like "blood ground1" have to be DXT2/DXT3.

no, the snow is in it's own group that BG dosn't have. It's in the rain group. BG dosn't have a rain group, therefor it's impossible to import the snow.
