Yeah it is working, earlier it would just freeze up on me and I thought maybe it was taken off the site, that really sucks if ViperNeo doesn't continue modding though because he is obviosly great at both modding and programming if he made a program to convert CE maps, I think the tutorial map is awesome too I love the outdoor levels.
Happypants wrote:wow , this map looks soo great, but it would be greater if it were 47 megs, also, good job on the fuelrod bg mod u did, with the rocket hog and all
Thanx happy pants and if i cant get the famethrower working in my mod correctly maybe i can ask viper neo to use his. So dont wory ill find a way to get that update.
It should work on PAL, just use the Library for PAL patch on the map. The only questionable part is the swamp fox xbe patch, I don't know if it works on a pal xbe or not.
No because u would be using a different .xbe to play it. The XE and NMP .xbe have the normal 47MB cache files. And this .xbe is for the 115MB cache files. So the answer is no, u cannot.
well actually i was able to patch an NMP1.1 xbe with TSF's xbe patch and it works fine so the answer is yes seeing as the CXE, NMP2.0, and NMP1.1 are nothing but a modified path for the maps folder and game demos path everything else is in the ui
I dont really understand how to do this...You patch the old xbe with the new thing and then u delete sindwinder and replace it with mombosa's sw? How do you patch the xbe and where exactly is it? Can someone briefly describe how to get mombosa working...?
get the forerunner patch ( i have seen it at halomaps.com) and patch your default.xbe file. then replace your sidewinder.map with the one you downloaded from here. TADA!
