Viewing a model with the skin in a 3d modelling program?

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Viewing a model with the skin in a 3d modelling program?

Post by Lazer »

Alright I have milkshape, 3dsmax5, photoshop, and plugins to import .obj files and a plugin to view .dds with photoshop. My problem is when I import any of the obj files exported from hmt3 with milkshape the skin never seems to work when I apply it. All the texture coordinates are way off. How would I go about keeping the texture coordinates? Same with 3dsmax5. I'm having a bit more trouble with that because I don't even know how to apply a skin with it. And when I import the obj file all the faces are flipped inward on me too.

Any advice that could help me?

I did look around and I only found one topic on it and it wasn't answered.
