I think it was originally supposed to be the flame thrower, but that made syslink games go out of sync, so they added the frg.AnIdeaCame2me wrote:IT is??? YYYYYYYYAAAAAAYyyyyyyy THANKS
NMP 2, CXE 1, HMPi FOR DOWNLOAD
Guys, I installed this package over the standard Halo, not NMP1.1 and I get an error while running the setup that says "Failed to upload c:/documents and settings/all users/documents/Misc files/Halo NMP2/~output/default.xbe". It happens during or at the end of the installation of the "cxe01" folder.
What could be causing this? There is plent of space on my drive for it. ???? What should I do?

I'm not sure why you are using the path to your PC.KAC wrote:Guys, I installed this package over the standard Halo, not NMP1.1 and I get an error while running the setup that says "Failed to upload c:/documents and settings/all users/documents/Misc files/Halo NMP2/~output/default.xbe". When you run the .exe file it then prompt you to set the IP address of your xbox and then set the path to your Halo game that is located on your xbox. Make sure you set the path of the halo game from your xbox not from the PC. That is how i got mine to work.
Thanks for the feedback dvpmike but I got the FTP to work. I do have the correct paths set. It does transfer files to the xbox. It stops when it gets to that point every time. It stops when trying to FTP the default.xbe file to the box. The other files transferred ok. I'd like to read a tutorial on the manual process so maybe I could do it manually since it doesn't work automatically.
This might be a longshot but try this. Clean out your temp files on your computer and check to make sure you have room on your PC. Another thing is that there is one part of the transfer that kinda take a while and it might look like it frozen. Be patient and see. Give it about 15 min to 20 min to see if it complete it self. Ohh yea one more thing, make sure there is enough space on your xbox because it does not overwrite your old halo but it adds 2 more version to it even though it only shows 1 halo folder there is a total of 3 different version and the total amount of space is over 2gb for just the halo alone.
Thanks dude. I have the file. I can transfer it manually but I don't know if after I transfer the file over manually if that's all I have to do. Since it stops there every time I don't know what else it was supposed to do after that file transfers over.
EDIT. I forgot to mention that it's not a waiting thing cuz the error screen comes up. It's not like it froze, ya know? It litteraly stops and gives me this error. I'll check the space thing but I'm sure I have over 2 gig free. Thanks.

Sorry your having so much trouble with our installer. Maybe I can help you.
I need you to do a couple things first though.
1) Post what FTP'able dash (and the version) your running when installing.
2) Double click the make-dir.bat file in your installer directory. A dir.txt file will be created in the same location.
3) Please zip or rar your debug.log, input.log and dir.txt files found in the installer directory as an attachment.
Providing all that info will give me a good starting point for hunting down the problem.

I'm using MXM v0.9n. I have all the latest versions of UX, Ava, Evox, and XBMC but I always have a problem FTP'ing with Ava so hopefully you don't want me to try that one.
I've attached all three files you asked for. Thanks for the help. I'm anxious to play this.

Look at your dir in the install dir. Make them the same even caps. /E/games/Halo is your dir on your xbox hdd. Make it the same in the setup /E/games/Halo Not /E/Games/Halo
