Is it possible to have the xbox menu to look like angrycamels, or is that for pc. Just wondering if possible because that looks better than the original for xbox. Would be nice to be able to keep everything sorted out.

not to get too off topic... but that pic I posted is a concept done in photoshop of what I want to make for XBOX. Just like some poeple use evox to choose which mapPack to launch, this will be a dedicated halo map pack chooser. The only problem is I do not know how to program in C++ and DirectX.

Any volunteers? Xboxwar3z offered to do it a while back but got busy just after the last release of his ppf applying app.

i know C++ but not DirectX, so i might be able to help but i dont think i could do the whole thing

couldnt you make an evox based script?
look at slayers auto installer, it is script based .ini
it might not be as pretty as u want, but it would do the job ;)

Or a game demo menu, Like people use for multi game discs.

I thought about a game demo menu but every one that I looked at I was just not satisfied with. I would really like to see something (like my rendition) built from the ground up as a halo menu. So the controls and the feel and sounds and look of it will go with the game and be a respectable replacment for the main screen of halo as it stands today. So with that said... TSF? Care to moke something up and then with the source open, we may be able to find someone to do the directX later? Now is not the time to talk about it (CXE+NMP release) but do think about it, and we can meet later.

Just wanted to let everyone know that is interested in this map pack that I will be waiting until after CXE and NMP are released to be doing anymore research or work on it. So it will resurface later... those who are working on the maps for it, please feel free to post your updates here so we can all be kept up to date.

Looking forward to the first BSP conv map pack!

Angrycamel is making this mappack.... why dont you let him finish what he started? He isnt gonna be busy for long. . .NMP+CXE release is in 1-2 days if i understand correctly, and Angry is doing most of the work releasing and finalizing it, so cut em some slack.

Also, alot of your information in that list is old + incorrect.

well the tutorial map works with ctf, but only the standard ctf not any custom game types :!:

Sweet... thanks thetyckoman for posting the file and link.

Now that CXE is released, I can work on this some more, but not without first sleeping for a very long time. LOL

Latar guys, keep up the good research, we need to gather more info like what Martijn Gelissen posted for all of the maps. So we know what to ask the mod maker to fix, or fix ourselves.
