DDE's with PPF-o-matic

Post by taskrok »

Can someone please explain to me why every patch i download and apply to the maps I get a dirty disc error when trying to load them

i admit i am noob when it comes to modding but i know i am doing everything correctly..

I have also downloaded PPF-o-matic 3.0 from several different locations thinking that i may have had a corrupt one, but i still get DDE's with every one i have downloaded.

Is there any other patching programs that are better than PPF o matic?
Please help

i think you mean winzip... Ok here is what you do... Play a multiplayer map on halo then take out the disk and go to your main menu(dashboard) then FTP to Your xbox... After that, look to find where your cache.maps are stored... Find the map taht you played, which will be the map with the time next to it that you played... Transfer that map to your pc hard drive... Then find the pff you wnat, and download it... Once that is done, right click it and click open with winzip... Follow the steps to unzip it... Then open ppf-o-matic... Click the top tab at the right and find the map taht you saved to your hard drive, now click the tab below it and find the ppf that you unzipped. Select it and click apply. once done, ftp the map back to your xbox... Wallaaaa
