first of, if anyone knows where i can find a good energy sword mod then can you send me a link. secondly, can anyone tell me how to add health bars to characters other than the MC say for instance an elite? it would be greatly appreciated. thx.

Hmm... THERE's a bit of a doozy. The energy sword thing, you have to make it so that the plasma rifle IS the energy sword... You do that by modeling the plasma rifle, changing it so that it can't fire, and making the sounds and melee etc. This is mostly done in HHT.

For the elite thing... You have to make it so that, like the energy sword, MC is the elite. The elite doesn't have a HUD slot in it's meta. So you make MC's model, walk, whack, firing capabilities like an elite. Simple. Also in HHT.

Mmm... it's around here SOMEWHERE. A guy named Flesh Rider made the plasma rifle model an energy sword or something of the sort. I forgot exactly. 0_o

well... where can i get this model for the first person view? plus, is there a way to use it without having to have somone nearby to swing it at?

Yeah, it acts like a normal weapon's melee. You don't jump at anyone or have crazy things like when you'd do it the old way. It works like a plasma rifle with no ammo. You just melee.
