HALO TIMER IN GAME???
HALO TIMER IN GAME???
Im sure all of you know about the halo timer. Well i was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to build a timer to work along with your halo game and display everything on the tv with all the respawns and stuff like that. What would also be cool is if it could automaticlly look at what map is being played and automatically change the timer to that map and automatically start when the game starts. I have no idea how to do this but if someone has some information on it or wants to make it that would be great!

Well, I looked into this a bit this morning, and it looks like we cant use the HUDnumbers section of the WPHI tag to disaplay time. The only statusus that could be linked to were various ammo stats and elevation/distance to target.

I'm still a mod noob and don't know all the tech terms but does anyone know where on the game there is the internal respawn of the weapons. The weapons spawn every 30 seconds or min. but its always even like that (except on RR and Chiron) but anyways somewhere on the game there has to be a timer for that. Would there be anyway we can link that timer to the on screen display like the same as the ammo and health bar?

yes there is something that controls that, its called item collection
if there was no [itmc] weapons wouldnt respawn
for what you guys want, it might be stored in the .xbe file
1st player is refered to p0 in the .xbe file maybe in the cache
