how to edit the text in halo, is it possible

wondering if i can change text in halo. preferably the game text. lik when it says tripple kill, i would want slaughter. also if there is any ways to change other text options.

There is a program that does just that, it's called HXH, Halo XBE Hacker. those little bits of commentary in MP are in the XBE file itself.
