Ok, I've been following this post for awhile, and here is my problem. First off I only really care about the HH mod and like many of you I have problems with the recticles... exept all of the guns have jacked up blocks for recticles and so far I've been unable to use snake3k1 patch effectivly. When I load to patched file in HMT (v3&3.5) after I inject the meta file and save, the ability to inject a texture disapears... then I'm screwed ... any advice??

ok ok what alot of peoples problems are the same and i bet your useing halocache editor well dont use it use hhht it will patch it and work perfect so yeah!

Tried HHT, when I injected media proram closed up on me... plus I can't find an inject texture. I think the problem is in bitmap\ui\hud\bitmaps\combined\hud_reticles because when I go to veiw them it gives me a very pixelated jacked up image... much like all the guns reticles. I hink I posted an image of it... should I try another version of halo??? I looked at the original cache file and it was jacked up in that spot... thanks

no no no kid your doing it wrong DONT USE HALO CACHE EDITOR go and get a clean map and use hhht NOT HHT its a ppf program and it should work just fine its in the ulilites ok

same problem... everytime...playgame, grap cache, patch it, play it ... blotchy recticles... :x Then I try to inject the meta files and textures and it dies... What am I missing?

Having problems trying to get them to compress too, any ideas?

Sparkedit 2.5/3.01/3.02 either crashes->exits or just hangs when trying to compress the maps.

I'm using the cache.tmp file that Sparkedit creates instead of the cache003.map off the Xbox, I've never had a problem with using and patching this before. Does anyone know if there's even the slightest difference between the decompressed file that the Xbox and Sparkedit creates?

If by HHHT you mean Helpful Halo Hacking Tools, already tried that, as far as I'm aware that is just a PPf tool, much like ppf-o-matic... I used version 1.4... but there was no ability to inject meta files or textures. The HHHT didn't solve my problem... must be something else.

i used hce 7, and it worked properly. perhaps you should make it so that when you get the energy sword, you have more life or sheilds

no i dont use bulding blocks in my stuff sorry and i will be making a new halo 2 mod here soon when i have the time so that is very soon! becase i need them to jump higher and stronger shields like in halo 2! so yeah and if you make your halo brigde mod with anyof my stuff your post will be delete but if you use any other halo 2 stuff which is not mine thats cool go for it but DONT USE ANY OF MY STUFF! thanks!

Uh, I know that you said not to use any of your stuff, but I already kinda built a huge mod around your battle rifle and SMG for AOTCR, can I still release it if you get credit?

Ok I've tried almost all the ppf patching programs now, I have used the cache file from two different halo games. And I have redownlaoded the ppf files. On all three levels the reticles are jacked... did you update the files and accidently bumb some variable? How can I try and fix them? I have no clue why it works for some and not for others, my only guess is that we are missign something really simple. Any thoughts????
