longest cache won't show up in Halo Cache editor

im trying to put the "darkest" patch on the longest cache but when i try to the longest cache won't show up just user interface does

So you are saying you patched a ppf to the cache and are trying to use HCE on it? If that is right you can't edit it for some odd reason I have noticed this but dunno if this is what you are ttalking about.

no i want to patch the longest cache but it does'nt show up wen im in hce and i click "patch cache file" i go to the "darkest" ppf click it but instead of the map name showing up it just says "user interface"

ok you have to go to your x/y/z and delete the cache000-005 and then load the Longest map in mulit Player and then go to x/y/z and get the cache003.map file and try it.
