Ai problem

Post by Edwin »

I am working on ptting AI into Mono's AOtCR MP map but i have 2 small problems.

so far i have 2 cases of AI fuctioning in the map. Both are in Wraith tanks. I used SparkEdit to turn over one of these tanks so as to dump out the elite in it. My problems are listed below:

1. both the AI characters dont move. they turn around, wave their arms at me, and shoot properly but they don't actually go anywhrere.

2. the model for the elite in the wraith is funny, it pokes up out of the tank-hatch like it's a hood-ornament.

Any solutions guys?

edit: oh yeah, almost forgot, how do you raise the flight celing?

Move the seat back in the wraith tank, that will change the AI's position. As for the not moving thing...that is because you put them in a vehicle, the AI will only drive a vehicle. You have to make it so the AI are imported on foot.

Yeah, i've been wondering about putting AI on foot too! I posted about it pretty recently, because, like Edwin said, they wont move on foot.

well they do sort of. but only if you make them berserk. Then they chase after you firing alot. Oddly when they get close they dont melee, the just stand up against you and try to shoot you, but usualy miss at that range.
