Just getting into Xbox modding.....

I've been modding on PC for a while and i have the PPF-O-Matic Win RAR and stuff like that..... I would like to know what i would need to mod on xbox..... and what i would need to hook up my xbox to my computer (if i have to cause i've seen on other forums that they said u have to)..... I have also look and a bunch of other fourms to find it and i have not found anything helpfull.... if u could give me a link or tell me what i need it would really help me alot thanks

ok here's what you'll need, an FTP client (this will help you access your files on the xbox, and yes you do need this). A hub/switch/router to connect the xbox and the computer. there are programs that you can download that let you edit stuff games (HALO) on the box, if you just want to play arround with it the best program for making simple changes is halo map tools, you can change weapon fire rate, the speed you walk and i even made homing rockets, (each weapon has that capability) i also made homing bullets out of the assult rifle and they also hurt more, no longer was the assult rifle a shitty multiplayer weapon! well hope that helped!

i dont understand what xbox modding is. how do you do it, what do you need to do it? an xbox? a connection between your pc and console? please someone reply

you need to install a mod chip into your xbox... goto www.xboxscene.com to find out where to buy one/how to install it.

a mod chip allows you to FTP to your xbox to access files, by modding halo you just edit the files, same as halo PC, its that easy

xinject 3.1 (advanced)(nmp forum

the nmp forum is located at the bottum of the files forum

the reason why you need to have a connection between your xbox and pc is that you need to retrive the files so you can mod them

So what your saying is the connection takes lets say a multiplayer map out, and I can edit it with those tools you just listed?

yes but if for you to get those maps out you have to have a mod chip
