New in-game text UI screen (ALPHA version).
I am messing with the UI, this is an alpha version of my latest UI mod.
(i know it says beta at the bottom but i just decided i am expanding my mod).
I will be doing the score board and many other new features if the HEK will be nice to me and let me mod it to hell!

If borg would only post pics you would be whining about it being fake/photoshopped so just download the video whats 3.5 MB?
I hope your text display will be like the one here:

That is because in this way it is a bit out of the way, which enables you to see your surroundings better. Also it is transparent which well gives a good feeling.
Typing screen:
I like the image you took in your typing menu and I hope you can make the buttons for MOTD, etcetera all interactive.
Gamestats:
If you could, but I doubt you would then Id like to see a seperate field for game stats (who was killed/betrayed by who) between the ammo bar and the life bar, about 4 lines wide so it's the same with of the ammo/lifebar.
I would like to see those stats not disappearing after a set of time, just after a new line comes up.
Talk:
The text because of typing Id like to see on the place of the text box in that pic, so to your left of your gun (since you hold your gun to the right).
Ofcourse it would be best if this would display team speak, all speak, vehicle speak, server speak& "The guardians speak" in different colors.
If you cannot make different fonts at all, then Id say make it all the same color as the text of "Blue team has the flag" so that sort of blue-ish color that becomes transparent after a while (which would be another cool effect to see text fade away).
Flickering icons:
The idea of a flickering CTF icon would be cool when your team has the flag. If you find out how to do it, then it shouldnt be hard to do something the same for slayer games or oddball games. For slayer this could be a flickering light when you are first, with oddball when you the ball etcetera.
MOTD:
The message of the day looks like crap and it doesnt even display vehicle stats. Maybe you could make some sort of immages that made it visual what the gamerules are.
Clock:
If you find out how, then it would be th3 1337 to have a count-down timer somewhere on your screen.
Loading screen:
Many people have stated that they dont like to have to simply wait for halo to screen all maps so maybe an interactive/not interactive loading screen could be welcome. If not interactive then some moving image or something else amusing.
You said you were sort of inactive with this mod so I hope these ideas might motivate you to become active again.
BTW if you find out how to edit the font that *SERVER* (and the server only) spits out then contact me over msn.
