This whole thing has been built from the ground up since I posted the beta - Blackout. This has been relatively unchanged for over a week now. I've been a little sick of modding and Halo 2 in general, so I decided to just release this as is with no additional tweaks to weapon performance/placement (the magnum is still useless ).

Last time I got a bunch of PMs from people telling me that they liked Blackout, and a few people kept posting garbage in the actual thread. If you don't like this map, I don't care... So, no need be put trash in my thread. If you do like it, feel free to post here.

• Elites into ODSTs [with hitboxes] [MC still MC because ODSTs don't like objective games]
  BR w/ Flashlight
  Sniper Rifle w/ Night Vision
  Human Weapons on Map [BR, SMG, Magnum, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle]
  No Duel-Wielding

• Stealth Oriented - Darkened Lightmaps, New Sky
  Reduced Visibility - Rain & Fog
  Lights Brightened [flashlight, grenades, weapons]

Thanks. It was fun before the NV, but it really made all the difference.

Holy crap, the 4th and 5th pictures (Not including the small one) are insane... this mod is, in my opinion, one of the coolest looking mods I've ever seen. I can't give it a 10/10 because I've never played it, but right now it's looking that way.

Very impressive, you did my night vision justice . I would have to say that this is the best mod ive seen for halo 2 so far. I havent been playing many mods lately but this one is a must....the weapons dont seem too tweaked and the atmosphere is incredible. This should make for some great gameplay.

Someone needs to update those Night maps with Night Vision on the scoped weapons, incredulous job man, me gusta, and that .gif of the Battle Rifle vs. Sniper guy pwns. MotM/10

I DLed it,went to start it up,and it loaded mainmenu.map every time i tried to play it.What did I do wrong?I'd give this mod a 10/10 just by the pics.

I don't think it's the mod, probably some settings you messed with.

EDIT: Try it with ALL fresh maps.

I had been considering making a "Black-Ops" series of maps (note the thread title)... Not all of the maps, but maybe one or two more. I'll see how this one is received and take it from there.
