i have one last question shade: when u say up the chunk cout for every tag u've added, let's say i add the containment gate 2 zanzibar and i put 4 of em on the map. do i up the chunk count 1 or 4? and also do i reference the tag once or four times? plz answer! thnkz!

I patched warlock, and it didn't work. When I go to the new one, every chunk is just completely blank (I can't even change it) or already has something in it.

Edit: I tried to patch a fresh warlock again, it didn't work still.
Halo 3 ruined everything..

Sorry about that there was a small mistake with the warlock patch bit its fixed now.

how come there are only 7 patches 4 new maps? how come u didnt make a patch for gemini? i know that relic couldnt be opened in insolence, but can gemini? i never tried it b4. hmmmm. idk plz answer though lol.

I didnt make em becouse without insolence i wouldnt of been able to make em proper

I did not understand how to use this plugin. I have already read all posts and tried something with DotHalo and Insolence. I am trying to fix system link to play a mod in jpt! (Damage Effects). I use the slots in Goof plugin but did not work. What the step by step to use this plugin please?

Just a quick question shade. I noticed when I was studying Predicted Resources in maps there was a pattern in references. For instance a vehicle with one seat and weapon with a new projectile and damage effect would have 1 vehicle, 3 weapon, 2 projectile and 1 reference to each damage effect. Should I add resources in patterns based on other maps or is it okay to just put one reference?

(Here is a better example of the pattern I mean, not real)

I've noticed some maps have that pattern and some dont. I dont think it matters but if u want to follow the pattern it coulnt hurt

I'm probably going to match the pattern if it is in a map that I Insolence things from. I'll look at the patterns for each tag type and post it later, in case anyone wants to use it.

objects\weapons\grenade\frag_grenade\damage_effects\frag_grenade_explosion

Why this tag do not work on System Link?
I changed the values:
Damage to 0 and Force to 20
My intention is a grenade jump. Its works on split screen, but on System Link only who host can do that.
I tried add this tag into Goof plugin and notthing.

Somebody help me?

That tag is already in predicted resources so adding it won't do anything. Does the other box have the same map? Other than that, I don't know. I had something similar happen where I doubled the clip of the battle rifle and made it fire all 72 shots in one burst. Works fine on one box but System Link the battle rifle on the non-hosting box fires anywhere from a 20 to 24 round burst.

I was imagining that. Yes the both xbox have the same map. There is a way to solve this?
I need to change another tag?

actually my friend is working on this kickass mod his name is headshotmasta you'll remember his name he's too good

i might wanna try it out oneday but i like making mods where people that join my game can actually see what modding is about . (not just some lame cheater with spawmods and AA, but someone who takes care of halo2modding in a good way showing what mods CAN be about)

actually the non host will never be able to get a different rate of fire / or a more shot burst.. the only thing you can change on a weapon is the number of projectiles and you can make the plasma pistol fire automatic when holding the trigger...

and you'll never be able to make a non-hoster able to do a grenade jump with putting the force up that's only for host.. since the connection doesnt allow them to fly up like you do.. thats thesame for sentinal beam.. if u put the force up to 25 you can use it as a jetpack, but for others it will work only when you put up the force to like 100-150.. the damage effects do work on system link.. i've been workin with this quite a while now on letting the people that join your modded game to see everything and to make the feel playing a REAL modded game.. its thesame when putting up your wraith boost.. when people drive it it doesnt go any faster, it will look kinda dodgy/laggy when they boost it.. but when you make the boarding seat a driver seat they can actually control the wraith with full speeds, same with warthog : makin it fly from passenger seat.. seats on vehicles seem to be some sort of external thing must've do something with online gaming there will be a reason for it.. or else everyone could fly from driver seat
