Not yet...there could be in the final version of projy but I am fairly content with just using the original xbe.

there is a good reason to make one for 1.1 and that is that you dont seem to be able to play bsp conversions on 1.0 therefore you cant take nice pics on new maps

Like I said before...it's an enormous amount of work to port and as of now I have no interest in doing so since I am perfectly happy using the original xbe. I don't make it to please others, it is for my own personal use which I happen to share with everybody else.

Foundation is indeed unlocked, not quite sure about lockout.. i'l have to try that later.

I have had this issue myself. Instead of just renaming $U or U$ or whatever the update is called, rename the folder the update is in. Lockout will work and this trainer will make a new folder for the pics. 8)

Lockout only refuses to work if you don't rename the $c folder.

um but wouldnt that disable the new maps to load?
because to make lockout work you would just have to rename the updates folder and the new maps folder which the easy way is renaming the entire folder..

Ugh, yeah, new maps won't work without the AU... renaming the $c folder will just fix lockout.

I use the Halo 2 Launcher so I can choose either v1.1 or v1.0 without renaming anything :P ! My lockout always fails to load and foundation isn't there in v1.0; I'll have to try out the mainmenu patch too. How can I fix the lockout problem without renaming anything or getting rid of my Halo 2 Launcher? THNKZ!

halo 2 launcher is a bad bad program... it's nice but each time you switch between versions halo 2 makes a shitload of cache... it started to annoy me although i liked the program :cry:
Lockout is failing to load when u select it in ur mainmenu when you've got the autoupdate off.. it loads fine when someone else selects it :roll:
and foundation was a "secret" level that was suppose to be unlocked after finishing campaign..but since halo 2 became a huge ass MP game, they've gotten rid of the "secret" in the autoupdate :roll:

It wasn't reavealed in the Update. I had it once I signed into live for the first time. I think its unlocked by either Beating Campaign or Getting on Live.

Foundations already on the Halo2 CD and can be unlocked be completing campaign or signing into xbl and getting the update.

I duno if it has anything to do with lockout failing to load, but on the 1.0 AU, lockout has a diffrent Mainmenu image than if you have an update on.

the $c folder contains a patch_3.lvl file that modifies the mainmenu and a part of lockout.map. That is why it fails to load and has a different picture.

I don't mean to be a noob, but Everytime I try to open Uber SnapShot Tool it says "This program has performed an illegal operation", I don't know what's going on, I see the pic. files on my xbox when i use SmartFTP. I'm using UnleashX dash.

The update updates a couple of maps (headlong, foundation, lockout etc), i think its because lockout was the only map that was physically changed (extra turret) that it cant load.

I've never heard of anything changing with those maps due to the auto-update, and never seen anything to support that, except with lockout.

The patch for lockout is included in the $c folder, instead of the $u folder, so the game tries to load the patch even without the AU, which can lead to some problems, for reasons I'm not totally sure of. So you need to rename the $c folder when you rename the $u folder.

It'd be interesting to know if you could make your own patch files and patch existing levels yourself.
