You can't play it without modding your xbox in some way. Doesn't have to be chipped, but has to at least be modded.jakob187 wrote:Alright. Wow what a suck a$$ map. I dont know if you got
a bunch of clan members or friends to reply on here
but wow. ok where do i start, 1st let me say yeah the graphics in the sky are ok, but what benefit of game play do we get? non. ok 2nd non of the weapends have been moded or no new weapends, the single pod flyer sucks in 3rd person cant see what your shooting and the ray blast is only for 2 seconds. and the random blue lights are a bit anoying. Ok go back fix this map becuase this map was created what seems like 100% noob. Take this construtive critisisim go back and make it worth playing. If i wanted to look at a good pitcure i would look on line or go to a art musuem. This is Halo2 and if you know what that means fix it!

Ouch...Well...The fuel rod gun certainly wasn't in the map before I edited it, nor the sword... And I didn't modify them because they are balanced enough as it is. It's basically a scenery mod, with a fuel rod gun, explosive thingies, a few grav chairs, and if you have a problem with it, don't play it. But still...ouch for the 100% n00b comment, I would just love to see you try to make something that even compares with this mod...visually or technically. And by the way, I'm not in a clan. I'm getting support for this mod because people genuinely like it, and because they know how much hard work on mine and TF6's side went into making this mod.eclipsecpu wrote:Wow what a suck a$$ map. So in summation:
1. Congrats on being the first moron on which I have to publicly display my discontent with
2. There are very few good mods for Halo 2, I'd like to think this is one of them
3. Try to make something this good, see how long it takes and if anyone likes it
4. Put a fuel rod gun with textures, a model, and animations with the correct projectile, and I'll be impressed
5. Learn to spell and use grammar...

Well, I agree with you there...But like most effect mods, the people who made them think they're cool, and there is bound to be those that agree with them...You can't please everyone, so you might aswell do what appeals to you, it is afterall, your mod...Course, how hard could it be to remove the effect rather than flaming?..eclipsecpu wrote:and the random blue lights are a bit anoying.

Well I did make a .ppf for it, and it works too. Only thing is the .ppf is about the same size as the map for some odd reason. And I would also have to post a small tutorial to show people how to add bytes to their ascension map. So its kinda a lost cause. But..it can be doneAND before a ppf *** comes here complaining about the map, you go ahead and try ppfing it, tell me how it works. Have fun with that!

Yea, the reason that it is the same size as the map is that PPF tracks differences...The map is byteshifted near the beginning. This means every byte after it, except a few 00's and cd's, will be affected by the shift. That way, very few of the bytes are still the same, so PPF will have a lot of tracking to do, and it's not worth the time it takes to make and use the PPF.
