Is there any patch for Dune... because I really need a patch for that map seeing that im expected to create a very intricate mod for a movie that is coming up on that map... THanks.

Changing Tags/Multiple Pieces

If I'm changing a tag, not adding one, nothing has to be done for SLC to work? Like.. say I make a Battle Rifle shoot rapid-fire wraith mortars or something. If I were to do ONLY that on a map, SLC would still work?

Also, say I'm adding a new hlmt to a map, like the flood marine for example. Do I have to go in and reference every little piece of the hlmt? Or can I just reference the hlmt itself, and the SLC will still work?

An answer ASAP would be great, as I have alot of mods waiting to become SLC.

Ok, HLMT's are SLC, so you wouldnt need to.

If you are only changing a tag, then no, you wouldnt have to make it SLC.
Only if your adding a tag do you.

Right, that's what I thought.

Also, I searched around the replies here for a while, and found one that answered my HLMT question. I got one of my 3 mods completely re-done tonight.. but there's a slight problem maybe you or someone could help me with.

For some reason, the flood human form doesn't hold a gun, in fact it appears like... in his ribs. Also, when I shoot him to death (any gun, melee doesn't do this) the game locks up. Anyone know how to fix it? I followed the standard hlmt injection method, but I can't seem to shake that lock-up.

You should ask this in New users Click here but the dying thing probably has something to do with the sound...

The thing is, I changed all the sound to sound\dialog\combat\masterchief... so It should work correctly. Also, there's no link to the New Users section in your reply, but I will find it.

a gemini patch is needed, plz. My clan will be very thankful if u make one for us.

This method is now obsolete. (Although it was great in its time) All you need to do now, is open your map in Entity, and hit the "Fix System Link" button...

hey i tried that "Fix System Link" button and it didnt work for me, so imma waiting for a gemini patch :D

What didn't work about it? Are you using Entity 1.2.0 or higher?
