Eschaton 0.7: Bitmap Demo

So here's the deal. Progress on 0.7 has been pretty slow due to several factors. But I thought y'all might enjoy a taste of one of the features I've been working on. The bitmap control. It can read internal and external bitmaps, renders all images, faces and layers at each mip level. It also supports importing of 2D images and cubemaps. 3D textures also known as volume textures do not yet have an import interface implemented. Also I have word that cubemaps when extracted using HMT do not work correctly, this should extract them correctly.

Thanks to conure for his info and code for injecting as EOF that maintains the internal structure bitmaps.map.
Also thanks to Dr. Robert M. Delaney for his complex matrix plugin and without which DXT import would not be possible.
MSDN's info about the DDS file structure was essential for inject and extract.

I don't suppose there's any way in hell you could add Halo1 Xbox support to this bad boy? I have REALLY REALLY wanted this for awhile. If you think you might be able to, and need some info, i'll see what I can do. *crosses fingers*

BTW, this looks awesome! Even at a >1.0 version!

How do I tell it where my maps folder is when I don't have it at the default path. I tell it where the bitmaps.map folder is but nothing happens when I set that.
How do I fix this?

it is a beta, all the eschatons are betas, that function should be working, just move the map files then if it is not.

Can you post the default path?
I have it installed an a second hard drive.

the default path is not there. It will load the one in the same folder as the map you are loading.

How do I load a map?
And I meant what is the default install path of halo so I can copy the maps folder to that and see if it works then.

File>Open and Expand
File>Open

Not sure which one it is. Give it a try.

hmm The open option was grayed out when I opened the program for first time but it works now.
EDIT: I still can't do anything within the program. I have a10.map open, I have my bitmaps.map set but when I select a .bitm file, nothing happens.
