This only took a few minutes, but download it if you're bored of staring at windows' defualt icon.
Installation Instructions:
Extract the file to a location of your choice, just remember where it is.
In windows explorer, click tools>folder options.
Go to the 'file types' tab.
Scroll down to the 'MAP' file extension.
Click the 'advanced' button.
Click 'Change Icon' and the browse to the file.
Click Ok and then close both windows.

you should consider making a .reg file where people can just double click it and it'll change the registry to look for that icon.

I don't know how to make those, so I'll look for a tutorial.

I don't have Vista, but I believe installation would be much the same as on XP. If that's not so, ask someone who is clever, and has a Vista.(Andrew_b

Here Philly:
http://computerperformance.co.uk wrote:How to create your own .reg files
Applying .reg files is useful, but best of all, you could create your own .reg files. Here is how you can do it
Launch Regedit (Start, Run, Regedit)
Navigate to the area of the registry you are interested in.
Select File (menu), Export and save as .reg file.
Note: Export Range at the bottom of the diagram and choose: Selected Branch.
Once you have mastered the technique to create .reg files, keep a look out for repetitive tasks where you need the same settings on multiple servers. Enabling the Security Tab on Exchange Servers is a classic use for this .reg file technique.
Can be found:

What you gotta do is install like you said in your original post, then follow the quoted steps from above to export the changes.
