b30?
//opens proggie to check

B30 opens fine for me.
It could take a while depending on computer cuase it likes to use up memory due to how it was programmed. One of the longer features it has is to count script chunks, but the longest is the "view script table". NEVER click that unless you have nothing better to do.

See if other maps take long time, if not i can look into it later.

Mmm, i forgot bout the post here.
How bout a update?

Image

Right, so i got script extracting done in terms of speed and no more locking up. I am currently making a scripting database for perfect script extraction. Once thats done i will start *true* script editing (I.E new script compiling with out CE). Also i will probably have a new release in a few weeks.

//cough

Well here is 0.475 of my script "editor".
Major changes sense the last (first) release

*new gui.
*Faster code for decompiling things.
*MUCH better decompiling code (this is basically useless now anyway due to the fact that ZMT released the source scripts which can be found at http://www.h2vista.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7657 .)
-few features that go along with script decompiling
*script protection (havent tested to make sure it works due to i cant play halo, i doubt it does.)

Thats pretty much all the major changes, there are a few minor ones but they arnt to important.

Anyway the wont be another release for a while because i need to figure out a more efficient way for the user to edit scripts already compiled (that i actuality can do.....).

Really? could you give me more details, like which map you tried to open and such?
It was hard coded just to open the SP and ui maps for halopc...
Maybe i forgot to put in the right breaker i will go test it and repost with a updated one.

Edit:
i screwed up on my binarystream. Really stupid mistake to, before i had a folderitem called fi that was local and one called f that was global. I removed fi as a local global (i am not sure how the debugger missed this.....) and jsut left f. But my binary stream was using fi....

Heres the fixed version(s).

Also bcnipod could u make sure the mac gui is right, i didnt have alt go through it so there may be some size issues on text.
