HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Alot of people still have problems setting up dedicated servers.So this program will make life,a little easier. It makes the chore of setting up dedicated servers,seem like nothing.It is very is to use.Meant for the person with no knowlege of dedicated servers,and people who want to save time.


Has an updater on it,so you only need to dl once.Ill inform of updates.
This one you have more gametypes and can select custom maps

Questions,comments,suggestions all welcome.Please dont spam this one like the other one.

Il be writing a tut on how to create a simal program cause people asked me to.

If you find any bugs,please post them so I can correct them

i have a question.is this 4 pc or ce?both?

Both,works for all

i will be adding onto it, so that u no longer have to type any of the commands in, i will add buttons for kicking, and i will add all commands that u could normally type in, in button or checkbox form, no longer will u even see the console window, when im done.

when i clike start game right awat it doesent strt what do i do( i do have halo pc open at the time) do i clike save

Click save,then save it to your Halo pc of ce root directory.Wichever one your making the server for.All thatr does is type
sv_mapcycle_begin

ummm how do i use this program. im a n00b and i need to know. when i press save, wtf do i do then. what do u mean save it to ur Halo PC Directory and where is the Halo PC Directory.

Ya you say "Save as" and place it into your root directory. Wich is where you installed Halo.
Default is
c:\Program files\Microsoft Games\Halo
You also need the didcated server for Halo 1.05,but Halo ce already has it with it

Do you have to spam all my topics. This is why I reposted. People like this program because of simplicity. There more that do alot more. But you have to understand dedicated servers to use it. This was meant to be easy for everyone. So people who have never set up a server before can do it

Hear me out Logan. If you spent time time making a program to help people and posted it,then someone posted that there was a better program. You would be pretty mad. I worked on this program and dont want someone to do this saying everything I did was worthless. So I asked you to remove it. Could you do me that favor?

*SIDENOTICE*This application was a stand-alone version of a collection of server tools that will come out shortly called "Halo Server Extensions" and that will not be just for normal and easy servers, but for servers with voting, statistics, IRC bot relay and much more.

Ow and YOMAMA if you wanted to help the community with a tool like this it would be easier to search for one existing , there are 2 creators of such tools and about 20 versions available which all will direct you to the latest versions in the abouts. Ah the wonders of google and init.txt

Nice work- lets me actually start a server for once (normal servers lag once 1 person joins (I HATE 56k!!!)) so thanks
