[App] Eschaton 0.7.2 - Beta
Might just do that. Or use various other lists that have been implemented.
IMPORTANT UPDATE IF YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED BEFORE THIS POST:
there was a bug with the bitmask editor that did not compensate for the new multiple reflexive system and any changes attempted would only work on the 1st reflexive. that has been changed. please redownload.
oy vey what I wouldn't give for a good debug shakedown.

Nice application. Still, there are some bugs that don't really affect what it does.
Sometimes, it doesn't save what you edit. Maybe add a force-save feature?

The slogan I could honestly care less about. Although make awesome does have a certain ring to it. Might barrow that idea from you.
Inject/extract != import/export
all that inject and extract can do are copy and paste .metas (without the reflexive data) onto tags of the exact same type like mp_warthog to mp_warthog.
window display commands are a bit finnicky. They should work, but sometimes they don't like to. If you can't get a window to display, press the command again and it should load up.
Main:
Could you give me an example when you made an edit and it wasn't applied? The subroutines that write to the map are within every event handler that involves changes of editable content. So an example of when this happened would be extremely helpful for bug fixes.

Dude, you outdid it again. I have used Eschaton ever since the first beta came out and been a HUGE fan. It's the best modding tool ever invented in my opinion and I have been an expert with 0.3. Now that I've tried 0.4 out, I'm truly baffled. I'll submit a few mods that I made with this, and for the future versions, I'd really like to be a tester. GREAT JOB!
PLEASE REPORT BUGS AND ERRORS:
People keep talking about it failing, but if you don't post with the details of what the problem is, we can't make the app any better. So if you have any bugs or errors, please report them either here, via PM, at halodev or the emerald mod team forums. Details are very important to bug reports. System info, what you were doing, what map, any mods already applied. The more info we have, the more we can do.
@pvtpwn: baffled? as in confused. I'll keep you in mind for beta testing though.

Eschaton Feedback
I'm new to this forum.. wanted to say Eschaton is awesome! (nice name too!!)
I've not gotten into serious Halo modding being a mac user as hexing is WAY to time consuming... Eschaton is changing all that. (and there was much rejoicing... yeah.)
I wanted to offer a little feedback...
1. When I open the Plugin Editor (Apple+p), I have to invoke the command twice before the window opens the first time. After the Plugin Editor has opened once, it opens correctly the first time the command is invoked. (this is true of both the menu and the key-command).
Side note: is there a reason the window menu for Plugin Edit is cmd + p (lower case) while the others (dep. swap & meta/reflex.) are both upper case?
2. Is there nothing in the File Menu in the menu bar? Eschaton, Edit and Window all have drop down menus but File does not.
I've experienced a couple of errors that killed E*. I will try to identify if they are randomly occurring or if there's a bug
Question: when will the Rebuild features be available? looks awesome!
Also, what would I need to do to get on the beta-testing team?
