IDk if any of you are havin the same problem as me wit this hmt 3 crap but all im tryin to do is get the warthog model and MC model out so i can edit them so if someone wants to be nice and send them to me my AIM name is ssktbrdr255

I can't open any maps, it says that they're not valid map files...
What's wrong???

when i try to open hmt3 it says "The application failed to initialize rpoperly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate the application." Help PLZ

Hi.

I loaded the map BloodGulch.map into Halo Map Tools 3 and then I exported the model [mod2]->vehicles\warthog\warthog (exporting triangles with zero surface area).
I tried to import it in Milkshape 1.7.1 as WaveFront object but nothing appears (like if a created a new empty model).
I thought, perhaps is v1.7.1... and the I tried with v1.7.0 with the same results.
Then I thought: "perhaps the Milkshape plugin for importing Wavefont objects dont works..." and I made the test: Opened a UT2004 model (.PSK) and exported it with MilkShape to wavefront obj format and imported it... It worked !!! so MilkShape works ok.

Do you have any idea of what's happening ?

can sumone PLEASE gimme the file for .zip instead of .rar, i dont want winrar and every time i DO get it my dad uninstalls it so please sumone post the .zip file :D :)

ok here are my specs
windows 2000
pal xbox
pal halo

and this is wat i get wen i try to open a map after ive transfered the map from xbox...

"Map is compressed want to decompress?"
if i say yes it says
"hmm not a feature why is it here?"
then
"map is decompressed"
then nothing
if i say no, it does nothing

and then when i try open it for a second time it says "file not found"
ive updated everything so like WTF?

not that im implying anything, but hmt 3.5 is out... and u may need the .net framework

well neway MC i got net framework and 3.5 and direct x 9.0b (if neccesary)

i can open the library map on hmt 3.5 and edit it andstuff but not the .map files which i transfer from the xbox!!!

also is there ne such map maker like hammer (like for halflife) coz im experienced at that and it would make things easy for me.

oh one more thing how do i put downloaded maps onto the xbox and make them WORK!

whoever was looking for . net framework for weeks i mourn for you. it took me 3 seconds. 1st go to google 2nd type .netframework 3rd click search. Wala!

well i have a problem with the model export.

when i open the model in milkshape or any other 3d aplication i get this

well the number of pints is right put the geometry is gone!!!.

When i try to open HMT v.3 a message pops up that says Dynamic Library Link(dll) mscoree.dll could not be found in the specified path. What does this mean? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix that???
