HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hello,
I have been working on this program for about 4 weeks, I'm getting into the programming type thing. I used to mod but after a long time, it got kinda boring after seeing log mods over and over .
So heres a program that is for searching and finding Halo CE Maps, efforietly, easily, and fast. I made it especially for like when you are in Teamspeak, and someone is like "Let's play some Ground Zero (GZ_H2)". I figure, wow I don't have that map so I go into the program type in "GZ_H2", it searches finds it. Then you can download it or use the Integrated Download system (not in V.01), and pause/resume it. I will be setting up an FTP on a Cable HIGH line in the future for this program. So no worry about other host and what not... So far it is a stretch of HTML based and program based, in a future version it will all be integrated into the program and get list from a server of mine. This is just to see if anyone would like it.. And see what else I should add or just flame me to death of a stupid program lol . Here is a few screenshots of the program...

Looks nice. This thing could really take off if you got enough maps on your server. Quick question: Are you using Firefox or Internet Explorer for this program, and more importantly, does it matter?

um when will this actually have maps on it?

if you read it, it said you "download" the maps it finds, so it wont contain maps, unless you worded your sentence wrong

so basically it searches in halo map hosting sites like
halouniverse.com
halomaps.org
files.halomods.com

and not the whole entire internet because thats what bugs me, if someone typed in a name of a map and finds it in a leaked website, well geez...

Does the search features have partial searching i.e.: Chronopolis_C3_Public_beta01.map, and you type in chrono or chronopolis

will it find the whole name of chronopolis? that would suck if it didnt...sorta

why does the thing always say system down?

Yeah I found this program pretty useless, I flamed it pretty hard but I dare not post that here

What I basicly said was "If you haven't finished something or it's down, don't post it." and that he oversized the buttons and ruined the Windows nature of it...

this is sad ive updated it a million times and for a year it has sed system down

ill remeber to come back here when my computer works again my dad put in a new router and screwed my computer up. but still nice and very helpfull makes it easyer then going on google and looking page through page.
