Pheonic Plugin Reader *Updated*

..so the thought of copying & pasting all those plugins off http://plugins.pheonic.co.uk into their relevant files made me almost sick, quite literally, so I made an app to do it all instead =x (hope you dont mind xzodia)

Then i thought meh, guess the community can benefit from this too :P

Image

Basically, the app will: navigate to the homepage, grab all of the plugin url's, and then loop through them: each time taking the plugin from the page source and parsing it all to a file. Obviously^^ you choose the directory in which the files are saved to. Note that directories that don't exist, will be created.

..and now with update 1.3, you can select which plugins you wish to download :P ..also a quick shortcut I implemented: Double-click either list to check/un-check all it's items at once.

Feel free to PM me of any errors found.

Remember you will need .net framework 2.0 to run the app, and that you'll need to be signed in to actually even see the download.

Updates
v1.1 - Now catches the """ tag.
v1.2 - Now catches the "</P> <P>" tags.
v1.3 - Now catches the "</p><p>" tags. Also user can now choose which plugins they wish to download.

What happened to you leaving and not being here anymore? If you are going to be here, then I would like you to get back to work on the apps that you left us with when you supposedly "left".

Anyways, thanks for the app.

Nice and useful tool prey. :D Keep it up.

Also Kibito, that didn't sound like complaining to me, but then again, it didn't sound like asking.. Sounded more like a demand. :?

I did leave for a while.. but I misjudged the amount of free time i actually had, so I am 'back'.. but still quite busy.

As for working on those apps, i don't see it happening.. sorry but I've got to many things on the go to even consider it. But that's not to say i don't have something h2-related in development :]

Anyways, if we could keep on topic here, instead of hi-jacking this thread with other crap; that'd be most appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for pointing that out dave. It wasn't the !, instead some of the page formatting had changed breaking the app. New version is up.

I think that some formatting is still not caught though, I remember seeing it when I was going through all the plugins one time, but forgot about it.

I'll update once I find it again, but that'll be tomorrow anyway as I'm too tired at teh mo'.
