[app] EFB: Easy Flying Biped

Ok, before you go ranting about this form of application already existing, please realize that I KNOW! So, there's no need to repeatedly tell me that. There are reasons for me to make this application. >_>

So, for those of you who don't know, this program and the one called H2QFB (Halo 2 Quick Flying Biped) both do almost the same job: it makes your biped, weather its a playable character or AI, fly.

What makes this one different from the old application is that the UI is generally more clean. It also has a feature not seen in H2QFB, and that feature is you are able to select decimal numbers for your speed. This gives you more accuracy when you select or change your biped's speed. Another thing is that it has a help menu that tells you what speed is what, so you don't have to go guessing which speed you need.

The only bug that it doesn't fix is the FP legs model. Because of the flying

biped, the legs in FP are really strange, and you see them from behind. To fix this, you simply go to the mode tag and null out the fp body shaders of whichever character it does this for. I am still looking into this and seeing if its possible to do it within the application so you don't have to. :)

Ok, now time to show you the pics:

H2QFB: This is the old one, and is not easy to use. I had to lean into my computer to read some of this stuff. =\

EFB: This is mine, and the one that this post is all about. Much better, isn't it?

ZOMG!! THERE'S ACTUALLY A HELP ITEM??? WOW!!!

Very Nice! I like testing this. I should have mentioned this before but you should have included a "Help" topic on how to fix the legs...
Great app, although not the kind I would ever get much use of out.

Meh, you could always use it for buggers. AI or just a biped swap with them.

Great job elite! Hopefully you continue programming :D.

This may cause more cheating mods but this is cool though.

Who needs aiming when you got a weapon that shoots out 30 rockets.

Why not just leave it if they set the speed to 0 :? ..and the whole 'mine is better' thing is just childish; theres no need to insult a respected member in such a way.

Yea, 'wow'.. you definitely need to spell check that, and perhaps even think about a more logical order to your writing...

good work, but a stupid question. does anyone have a link to the original bipd tool? I'm a bit of a program pack rat but somehow managed to loose this one. Dont ask why i want both, this is coming from a guy who uses 2 or 3 different versions of entity regularly.

I'd agree with you on a logical order, but as for spelling, I did do an entire spell check through MS Word. I'll check again, but I think its all spelled correctly.

And I'm not trying to disrespect anyone. I never said their app wasn't good. All I am saying is that the UI wasn't good. I don't like it when I have to come within an inch of my screen to read text. I am not disrespecting anybody, I am just stating my own opinions on their application, like you are doing to mine.

You contradict yourself.. the UI is part of the app you know >_>

Erm, blind?

No, there is a difference. You purposely pull apart tfav's app to make it look bad in comparison to yours. I on the other hand, am here to tell you how you've phailed at producing anything better.

*sigh*.. resigners, post-gens.. and now fucking re-makes of apps that are years old and work perfectly fine anyway? Why why why..

No offence Prey; your apps were very useful, an somewhat innovative; but STFU. Your friggin ripping apart Elite474 for no apparent reason. His app is a remake; it is nicer to look at; and he was not trying to be disrespectful. You on the other hand are coming across as being very rude and arrogant right now.

EDIT: And WTH is wrong with wanting to improve on something? Sure there have been apps in the past but this is an improvement. Why bitch?

What happened to the old days when stuff was done for fun. Mods and Programs even if done before was all for fun, and nobody complained. I miss those days.

Though Elite747 may be wrong for putting down another app and comparing, lets not do the same.

The app does its job. I'm not going to compare this app to any other because thats not fair, but I'll rate it based on its job. Its does it job perfectly, and therefore is a good thing, and not bad.

Keep it up.

Agreed. If I offended anyone, I'm sorry. It was not my intention to do so. I don't like how you are doing this to me, Prey. I put time and effort into all of my applications I make. I don't throw together crap and release it. So what if I don't know that much about the Halo 2 files? I don't want to. I learned VB on my own before I modded Halo 2. So, I am used to making other types of applications. If thats just not good enough for you, then you can just go away and never download any of my stuff. I don't care.

No its not about that, hes just a bit ticked because you ripped apart Tfav's app quite a bit, and made his look so much more worse, or tried. And thats disrespect, it was made a while ago, and before him no one knew how to do it, so its kind of disrespect, taking his project, and ripping it apart.

Hope you understand.
