Here's a slightly modified version of TheTyckoMan's post from haloplugins.com....

Update 8-19-06 : Well main thing that is added is an ent plugin editor (very earlier stage) right now it has support for the names and visibility of everything. Reflexives have most of their stuff supported. Strings do as well.

But the coolest thing is that it supports int, uint, short and ushort block indices editing, it's as simple as selecting the layer, the reflexive to index and the item in that reflexive to use as the label. We expect people to start using this....if not....grrrr.....

Update 8-28-06 : Major feature added to the meta editor; Now you can choose what to show and what not to show, please tell us if we missed a type.

Update 8-28-06 supplemental : Added custom color shifting for reflexives (found in meta editor settings.xml)
so now you can have custom shifting =)

Update 8-29-06 : Added the color shifting previewer and editor =)

Update 9-4-06 : We think we finally got the plugin editor working fully...if anybody finds any bugs don't keep them to your self ;p OH and also we added a button to scan only the selected tag with the plugin checker, so try that out as well.

Auto save added....FEI (For Everybody's Info ;p ) auto save is an option, not a must. You turn it on or off in the tools menu. Auto Save's status will be saved to the meta editor settings xml file, so you don't have to turn it on each time =)

Update 9-11-06 Added all values viewer, check the next two pics for info...=)

Good job.
I just got one suggestion, Maybe make it autosave, so people don't have to hit the "Save" button every time they edit something.

Yes, replace the save with undo...Theres a higher chance I'd change something and forget to hit save, lose however long I spent. But if I stuff something up I'd quickly press undo with no troubles of forgetting or anything like that.

The Meta Editor is getting even better Teaco, nice work.

Just noticed a issue, if you re size the meta editor panel, the meta editor stays the same length and height. Which causes it to cut off bitmasks and labels and all that stuff.

I keep forgetting to put in auto save, I'll do that sometime. I don't know if I'll add undo, because that would some major coding changes.......
