its near the bottom
TheTyckoMan wrote:Well I didn't really test out the block indices and reflexive lables on masive reflexives (1800 plus chunks) so the jmad plugin would lag like honey flowing downhill....so I fixed it (I think ;p) so this is just a little update.......

Well after I put it into the 1 month newer version and fixed one thing it should now work....should update more than once a month =D.......

Ok another update, this one a little bit bigger....There is now a button to view all the plugin elements in a treeview then you can select one and press the button in there and it'll go to that element in the main meta editor window. I think xzodia will be happier now ;p

Oh one thing though, I had to change somehting in the plugin reader for this to work right with reflexives and so that is not in this. on the next entity release reflexives will work right (in the selector, they already work fine in the main editor)

Whoops seems that the fix I made was really something that needed to be fixed, so here's the halomap dll as well =D

Update 8-19-06 : Well main thing I've added is an ent plugin editor (very earlier stage) right now it has support for the names and visibility of everything. Reflexives have most of their stuff supported. Strings do as well.

But the coolest thing is that it supports int, uint, short and ushort block indices editing, it's as simple as selecting the layer, the reflexive to index and the item in that reflexive to use as the label. I expect people to start using this....if not....grrrr.....

Update 8-24-06 : Got Bitmasks and Enums supported, maybe one or 2 other things (I can't remember what all was adedd last time) I'm not sure of what other things need to be supported.....if you see something just reply ;)

Update 8-28-06 : Major feature added to the meta editor; Now you can choose what to show and what not to show, please tell me if I missed a type.

Image

Update 8-28-06 supplemental : Added custom color shifting for reflexives (found in meta editor settings.xml)
so now you can have custom shifting =)

Image

ps: soon I'll try to make a color previewer so you don't have to test and test and test in the meta editor to find the right shifting values ;)

Update 8-29-06 : Added the color shifting previewer and editor =)

You can find the latest Meta Editor here.

Dark matter was open sourced in the end...

Is it similar to Dark Matter's situation? Not going to be worked on further?
Also, like last time, I don't think many people will take advantage of the open sourcenss (including myself) but hurray nonetheless ;)

WOW! This is great! This is what the modding community need. Modders who are not greedy and share the sources to allow better programmes over all.

Thanks :D

coz its basically thesame as 1.2.1
plus i've been told things would be added in the next version ,but it seems like they dont do much with the suggestion thread on TRP forums.
and besides beta testers already have a bitmap interalizer and a goto tag option, so why wouldnt we get this?

Nice.

Too bad the skin editor doesn't completeley work. Some values don't show up therefore you can't edit certain things beside text. Unless it's only me. :?

Well maybe because they are beta testers and your not. They get special features because they earned it not you. If you want it so bad make it yourself.

Is the bitmap internalizer here much better than the latest version of Halo2IB? Does it internalize them properly?

What languauge is the source code in (still dl'ing it)? What program was it made with? Would it be compilable by any of the Express versions of the Visual Studios?

it was made with C# express edition its much faster abou 5 - 6 times faster and it internalizes al reflexes and properly but ive had some problem wiht it likei need to reopen the map before i can read any values rigth again and you know how the bitm changes to all black with halo 2 IB this doesnt do that it stays teh same
