Main Menu Editor

Here is a little app i made for someone on request so i thought id release it here to. It has some cool features that it performs on the main menu

Features:

-Add new mp and sp maps to the main menu
-Ability to disable a map slot in one click
-Remove blue filter easily
-Remove the fly camera
-Enable no starting weapon as an option
-Allows you to choose a scolling speed for the main menu logo(very cool)
-Will grab the scenario name from the map you are adding(for you lazy people ;) )
-Resigns the map

Bugs:

-To my knowledge there isnt any

sounds great, this will save me alot of time, can you make it so you can add a main menu image too?

edit: maybe i'm just too quick for you, but did you forget the download?

edit 2: i keep hovering my mouse over your post hoping to find a secret download and it's not happening.... :cry:

lol ya rotten i dont see a download either. But when there is one i'll find it ;) and BTY nice app shade. This will keep mm editing more compact and easy to do.

so yeah whats up, can you make it so you can add your own preview image for the main menu for all 50 map slots?

also i dont know if this is possible but can you make it so in the scenario and map name section you just select the map and it automatically finds the correct scenario for the map and the maps name (name being the filename) ?

Maybe.. I dont think I would be able to get bitmap injection working. But I could probably make it fix the map so that you can inject a new image for each slot like in the patch DWells55 posted alittle while ago.

wow ubersexiness. Im assuming it doesnt calculate an add RAW space for bitmaps? if so AWESOME! if not, you should talk to Iron_Forge and see if he's willing to lend his wisdom.

Edit: and if you would like, i could help you with the bitmap injection/extraction....just not adding raw for more bitmaps.

how about my second question? the scenario thing is more important than the name thing. my laziness knows no bounds, i am sick and tired of hex editing then copying and pasting then adding them and all that mess and i dont feel like going back and opening every map i have to see what the scenario is. if you could make it do that then i would send you $5 over paypal for your efforts :P

at the end of the scenario setting, just put the name of your map, nothing else, no hexing or anything.

No need for money :P but I could definatly get that working pretty easily.. ill try and do it quickly tonight or sum time tommorow.

yeah i know how to do it, but i just though it would be a cool feature to have a box open up where you could select your map and it would find and enter the scenario for you.

Do you know what would be awesome? If you extended this app so you could do everthing you needed to do to add a new map to the main menu. No more changing scenario names no nothing, then I would lLOVE you.

according to the app 20 maps. i'm not sure if thats really the max but in the app it is.
